Welcome, I’m Becca!

I help clients go from just existing to a life that lights them up!

The journey to your “this lights me up” kind of life will first lead you through your own darkness. Together we explore your subconscious mind, heal old wounds, and rewrite your subconscious programing to align with the person you’ve always wanted to be.

Let me guess: you’re here because it feels like something is missing, but no matter how hard you try you haven’t been able to figure out what that thing is.

You’ve been going through the motions of daily life without actually living for too damn long.

You keep thinking “if I just knew what was missing then I could fix it.” Only the answer never comes. So you just keep going through the motions, wake up, go to work, come home, go to bed…lather, rinse, repeat…blah

Somewhere deep down you know there HAS to be more to life than just living it on auto-pilot and you’ve landed in the right place!

When most people feel an emptiness or like something is missing, their focus tends to go to their external life “maybe if I start that new hobby I’ll feel alive again” or “if I change my appearance in some way I’ll feel better.”

No amount of external change will make us feel better if we haven’t addressed where the emptiness actually lies…on the inside.

And that’s my job! Everyday, I work with clients like you on their path to self-discovery. Confusion can be replaced with clarity. Meh can be replaced with joy. And emptiness can be replaced with wholeness.

You’re tired of living a humdrum life…

I’m going to help you discover who you really are and what you really want.

My Story

Whenever someone asks me why I became a counselor, I have two answers. One-I always knew I was meant to help people and two-it aligns with my natural personality. I am a born adventurer, I love getting lost in a good story, and I was never afraid of the dark!

While I’ve always had the desire to help people, the specific way I do so is largely based on my own lived experiences, my own shadow work, and my own self-exploration. I’m a firm believer that you can’t take anyone further on the path than you yourself have been willing to go, which is why my journey of self-discovery is ever ongoing.

One of the most important things I’ve discovered that impacts our overall well-being, either positively or negatively, is the quality of the relationship with the self. Most people just exist within themselves without ever creating an intentional relationship or realizing having a relationship with yourself even matters.

In developing a deeper relationship with myself one of the biggest areas I found that needed healing was my inner dialogue (hello inner critic). Most of us are much harder on ourselves than we are on anyone else and I am no exception. So I started holding myself accountable for how I spoke to myself.

When I found myself being overly critical, negative, or judgmental, I would then stand in front of the mirror, look myself in the eyes, and apologize for what I had said to me, the same way I would apologize to someone else if I had hurt their feelings. While the process itself initially felt awkward, it helped my inner critic become my inner cheerleader. Realistically the shift happened because I just got tired of having to apologize to myself and it became easier to just be nice to me to begin with!

The more I allowed myself to cheerlead me, the more I actually started to believe in myself again. Believe that I was actually capable of reaching my goals the same way that I believed in myself when I was 5.

As a 5 year old playing in the sandbox, my friends and I believed that if we just dug for long enough that we would eventually make it to Australia. Like we actually believed it. Everyday we’d run to the sandbox and excitedly start digging thinking “today might be the day we make it!” It never occurred to us to doubt that possibility.

Do you remember that feeling I’m talking about? When you believed anything was possible and that you were capable? What lights me up is getting to help people like you get back to their sandbox moments!

No, silencing your Inner Critic will not automatically turn you into a giant asshole (unless of course, you are already, in fact, a giant asshole!

Your Inner Critic can become your Inner Guidance.

Why I do what I do:

I believe we are all infinite spiritual beings having a temporary human experience.

I believe that our souls are deeply interconnected and that what impacts one, impacts all.

I believe when you do your own healing and step into your authenticity the whole world will benefit.

In the words of Howard Thurman (Author/Philosopher)...“Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Living life without truly knowing yourself is like walking around with untied shoelaces! It’s doable, but why the hell would ya?

Imagine what life would be like if you didn’t overthink every decision, if you didn’t agonize over making the “right choice”, and if you didn’t have to ask everyone you’ve ever met for their opinion before deciding your own? The clearer you are on who you are, the clearer your decision making will become!

Becca Morris uses depth psychology

“Becca Morris has been more than just a counselor to me, she’s truly been a listening ear, a reliable shoulder to cry on, and a saving grace. When I found her information through Psychology Today, I had just entered one of the darkest times I had seen as a woman going through her early 20’s— confused, scared, insecure, really not understanding what the purpose of my life was. Through her coaching and counseling she’s helped me break through some of the toughest mental blocks allowing me to push forward to the next phases I felt were so daunting. Having her nurturing spirit to look forward to every other week truly helped me find my way back to enjoying womanhood as a young adult and not fearing the unknown but rather accepting it and meeting it with a “what if this does work out” mentality allowing me to take it by the reigns.”
